Some thoughts in the midst of unspeakable horror

This ain´t gearing up to be a good week at all.

Again, a complete loon has gone berserk with a gun at a school. Nine young people with long productive lives ahead of them are now dead. A disgusting cowardly crime against defenseless, innocent youths.


1. Finland needs to gear up their mental services. Too many people are met in their darkest hours with just a prescription for antidepressants and "good luck". There´s still a huge stigma surrounding mental health and it leads politicians to wipe the problems under the carpet.

2. It must be harder to legally get hold of guns. If you are saying that people will then just get hold of illegal guns, I assume you are for legalising heroin too.
