Grass roots - the movie

I first heard about this from Mr. Shelton three years ago in Bergen, but now it seems like the project has gone a bit forward. It's a stop motion animation based on the Freak bros. book Grass Roots. And it's made by the guys who did The Secret Adventures of Tom Thumb.



Here's the fun part. Anyone can finance the movie. Want to see this happen? Well, buy some stocks then.

I'm really tickled to see more fan-financed content out there, similar to what Einstürzende Neubauten has been up to on the last coupla discs. No record company, only the band and the fans.
